From a spreadsheet to a working register.
Import your list
Upload a CSV or Excel file and map its columns. A dry run shows every row that would fail before anything is written.
Holdings arrive too
Include a holder column and the import issues those Assets on commit, so the register starts with who has what.
Work from one list
Add new Assets as they arrive and download any view as a CSV whenever someone asks for it.
Duplicates are caught at the door.
A duplicate serial asks for your confirmation and a duplicate tag is refused, whether you add an Asset or import a file.
Import
A dry run before anything changes.
Map the columns, run the check and read the error report. Only a clean import is committed, and each import carries a batch tag you can filter by later.

Questions about the asset register
Can I import our existing spreadsheet?
Yes. Upload a CSV, or an Excel file that is converted in your browser, then map its columns to the register's fields. A dry run lists every problem row before anything is written.
Does the register handle software licences?
Yes. A licence is an Asset with a number of seats. Seats are assigned to People one at a time and are never over-issued; a released seat can be used again.
Can we use our own asset tag format?
Yes. Tags are allocated from your organization's own format and are unique across the organization. Serial numbers that collide raise a warning you have to confirm.
How do Assets change state?
Only through custody actions. An Asset is in store, assigned, in repair, retired or disposed, and it moves between those states when someone issues, returns or transfers it, never by editing a field.
Can we export the register?
Every register view downloads as a CSV. There is deliberately no single export of the whole organization's data.
